I recently filed for unemployment and I am getting a steady check from the unemployment office. My girlfriend is still employed full-time and her job seems to be stable. We want to see if we qualify for a home loan using her income and my unemployment income. Do you know if my unemployment income counts and if it will help us in getting approved for the loan or if it will hurt us?

We are considering purchasing a house within the next year or two. It would probably be an FHA loan because coming up with the down-payment is one of our biggest challenges. Right now we pay almost $1100 a month just in rent and price range of homes we were looking at would have a monthly payment of around $600 (even with the low down payment from FHA). When trying to qualify will they take that into account?

im 18 and my parents have a home loan they bought before the boom and now houses are so damn expensive, how on earth am i going to pay for my home loan, im so pissed off cause how on earth am i going to have a life when im older. Credit scores are horrible. Really horrible. Eviction histories, repossession of the vehicle is on the credit report. no car. No personal phone/cell phone. No home.
