The loan has already been processed by the loan officer and their underwriter. It has been sent to USDA. How long of a turnaround time should we expect for USDA to approve the loan? In NC if that makes a difference.

Right now the turnaround time can be anywhere between 2-3 days & around 2 weeks. It really depends what company you are going through. I know a lot of companies are experiencing a high volume in loans because of the tax credit & also falling house prices.
